About Me

My name is Tsedeye, I am a Social Worker and advocate for mental health accessible mental health care. I am particularly passionate about providing support for those experiencing grief and loss.

Growing up in a family of social workers and health care professionals I have always felt deeply drawn to working alongside people to assist them through the ups and downs of life. Within my practice I use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Therapy/Creative Therapies.

I chose the name Epione for my love of Greek mythology. Epione is the goddess of soothing and pain relief. The name symbolises healing, comfort, and emotional support, aspects of my therapeutic practice I value highly.
